
"Oh no! It's the Glop Monster! AAAHHHOOOHHHAAAGRRRAHHH!!" I also remember I would also deliberately activate the cooking machine too early because I thought watching the Glop Monster rampage across the screen was hilarious. I had more fun clicking on everything just to see what would happen, sometimes multiple times to see it repeat over and over. But as a child, when I played this, "winning" wasn't so important. My older-self's brain tends to be very goal-oriented, thinking about how to finish a game in the fastest time with the fewest errors. The thing I remember most about playing this game was how big it was.


One of my earliest computer memories is of my toddler self waking up early in the morning, turning on the computer and starting this game, only for my parents to tell me that it was time for me to go to preschool.
